FIX AUTO UK FURTHER STRENGTHENS ITS SOUTH WALES PROPOSITION AS FIX AUTO SWANSEA WEST BOOSTS THE NETWORK

Four years ago Matthew Davies and Paul Gravell were working for a prominent South Wales repairer, today they are the latest super-ambitious business owners to join Fix Auto UK and will operate as Fix Auto Swansea West.
Having formed KillaShine during the height of the pandemic where they offered a one-car-in, one car-out proposition, the pair now employ 12 and are repairing up to 80 vehicles a month. However, both want to maintain their meteoric growth, further increase their capacity and become a multi-site operator – which is why they’ve joined the network.
Having spent their first months in a humble lock-up big enough for a single car, such is the demand for their services they’ve moved twice and they are currently operating from a 14,400 sq ft repair centre. They are in discussions to take over an adjoining unit that would elevate the business to more than 45,000 sq ft of bodyshop plus secure car parking.  That extra space, they say, will enable them to develop a seamless workflow system that would “significantly” increase capacity.
And they’re not stopping there as the duo are already looking at expanding into another area of the region.
“We often talked about going out on our own,” said Matthew, a spray painter by trade, “an opportunity arose during Covid and we haven’t looked back. Since day one we have always said we wanted to grow and expand, joining Fix Auto UK will help us fulfil those ambitions.”
Paul, a panel technician, added: “We’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved in such a short space of time. We have built up a great reputation for not only repairing cars to the highest standards but also being great employers. We’re still on the tools and love being part of the team but, we are super ambitious and realise without the help and support being part of an organisation like Fix Auto UK brings we would struggle to take the business to that next level.”
